Yanan Leah Li

Leah is a lawyer licensed to practise in Ontario, Canada, and currently manages litigation matters at the firm in Toronto. Her practice focuses on commercial litigation, i.e., shareholder disputes, real estate litigation, and the recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments etc. She also has experience providing cross-border legal services involving China.

Prior to becoming licensed in Ontario, Leah practised law in China for several years. In 2017, she began working in the legal department of a German-invested hospital, focusing on healthcare law. After completing her studies in Canada, she undertook a summer internship at a Canadian intellectual property law firm and completed her articles at a Canadian real estate law firm.

Leah holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Master of Laws from East China University of Political Science and Law, as well as a Master of Laws from Osgoode Hall Law School in Canada. She has also passed the Chinese judicial examination.
